STORYLINE:
Explosions lit up the night sky over the Gaza Strip in a fiery orange glow, as fighting between Israel and Hamas continued.
Several blasts were seen across the skyline early Saturday, with plumes of smoke rising.
The cause of the explosions was not immediately clear and there were no immediate reports of casualties.
U.S. President Donald Trump has said he is closing in on another ceasefire agreement that would see more hostages released and potentially wind down the war. But there were no signs of a breakthrough this week after two days of talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.
