“It seems like a lot of words were said about high prices and so on, but now it seems that these supplies will be paid for by Europe, some will be paid for, some will not. But the fact remains that the supplies of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment from the United States to Ukraine have continued, they are continuing now.”

“For us, it is very important that Mr. (Keith) Kellogg, as a representative of (US) President (Donald) Trump’s team, continues his efforts to mediate, to provide mediation services within the framework of the Russian-Ukrainian settlement.”
STORYLINE:
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday that US arms shipments to Ukraine had continued throughout the conflict.

His comments came in response to President Donald Trump saying that the US will supply Ukraine with Patriot missiles.

“Now, it seems that these supplies will be paid for by Europe, some will be paid for, some will not,” Peskov said in a conference call with reporters on Monday.

“But the fact remains that the supplies of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment from the United States to Ukraine have continued, they are continuing now.”

Asked about when another round of talks could be held with Kyiv to end the fighting, Peskov said that Moscow was "still waiting" for Ukraine to offer a date.

"It is obvious that Kyiv is in no hurry,” he said.

“We are still waiting for proposals on the timing. The Russian side is ready to continue and to hold a third round.”

Commenting on Keith Kellogg’s trip to Kyiv, Peskov said it was important Trump’s special envoy to Ukraine "continues his efforts to mediate" during his visit.
