This was a conspiracy that Donald Trump, Pam Bondi, and these MAGA extremists have been fanning the flames of for the last several years. And now the chickens are coming home to roost. The American people deserve to know the truth. What, if anything, is the Trump administration and the Department of Justice hiding? What are you hiding? If you’re not hiding anything, prove that to the American people. And if you are trying to hide something, as many of Donald Trump’s MAGA supporters apparently believe, then the Congress should actually work hard to try to uncover the truth for the American people."

And the response from Vladimir Putin, a sworn enemy of the United States of America, has been to unleash terror on Ukrainian children, communities, and civilians. Donald Trump had zero credibility in this area. Is he just now figuring out? That Ukraine is a friend to the United States of America and Russia is an enemy?"

"Imagine a group of people – this is how corrupt they are – in the middle of a search and rescue operation that is taking place in Texas right now, dozens of children drowned to death, and some of that has to do with incompetence in the Texas state government and incompetence in the Trump administration. And instead of actually trying to be there for the people of Texas in the Hill Country, children at summer camp who’ve lost their lives, they call a special session. And the main reason for that special session is to try to steal the midterm elections by rigging the Texas congressional map. These people are a complete and total embarrassment."

STORYLINE:
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries weighed in on the Jeffrey Epstein case, saying, "the American people deserve the truth." He also criticized President Donald Trump’s about face on Russia and Ukraine.
On Monday, Trump threatened Russia with steep tariffs and announced a rejuvenated pipeline for American weapons to reach Ukraine.
He once focused his criticism on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whom he described as unwilling to compromise, but more recently has expressed growing irritation toward Putin.
"Is he just now figuring out that Ukraine is a friend to the United States of America and Russia is an enemy," Jeffries asked in remarks to reporters Monday.
Jeffries also said the Trump administration should reveal what it knows about Jeffrey Esptein.
The broken promise to release more information has sparked outrage among some of President Donald Trump’s loyal supporters.
The special session is slated to open July 21.
