(24 Mar 1980) Dominican Embassy in Bogota is held up by Columbian guerrilla 19th of April Movement. They stormed the Embassy during the cocktail party and holding a large number of diplomats hostage. Supplies come to the embassy in Red Cross truck, troops and press watching.
