“Billy has a hard time talking about the ends of these marriages. I think they affected him deeply. It hurt. But talking about them is, it– he could talk about a lot of things, but talking about the ends of those marriages, other than ‘it was sad,’ was hard. So basically we used his songs to help express what he was feeling at the time. The end of night one, we use the song ‘Surprises,’ which is basically a song about admitting that he had regrets, and he’d made mistakes, and… We use, ‘And So it Goes’ at the end of the relationship with, with the end, of the marriage with, with Christie (Brinkley). And they speak for themselves. Billy speaks through his music.”
