Seeking justice for protesters in Bangladesh | DW News

It’s about a year since a student-led protest movement in Bangladesh started and eventually ousted former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. According to the UN, around 1,400 people were killed as Hasina’s government unleashed a crackdown to crush the movement. Hundreds of protesters suffered bullet wounds after being shot, and many of them lost their eyesight. DW spoke to one such student who wants Hasina to face trial for what he calls crimes against humanity.
