Surviving roommate Dylan Mortensen denounced Bryan Kohberger in court without ever uttering his name. Mortensen lived on the second floor of the house and came face to face with the killer the night of the murders. She described the impact the slayings have had on her life. A friend of the murdered students spoke on behalf of Bethany Funke, the other roommate who was home the night of the slaughter. She asked her close friend Emily Alandt to speak on her behalf in the first person.
