STORYLINE:
Arturo Suárez se reunión su familia en Caracas la madrugada del martes, luego de haber pasado meses en una cárcel en El Salvador.
Esta semana, Venezuela liberó a 10 reos estadounidenses y residentes permanentes a cambio de recibir a más de 250 personas que habían estado detenidas en una cárcel de máxima seguridad en El Salvador, a donde habían llegado deportados por el gobierno de Donald Trump.
Los venezolanos estuvieron detenidos en una mega prisión llamada Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (CECOT), construida para albergar a presuntos pandilleros en la guerra del presidente Nayib Bukele contra las pandillas salvadoreñas.
Grupos defensores de los derechos humanos han documentado cientos de muertes y casos de tortura dentro de sus muros.
La familia de Suárez, así como muchas otras, han dicho que las acusaciones contra sus seres queridos son falsas.
