Another 10-hour pause in Israeli military operations has come into effect in parts of Gaza to allow more aid to be distributed.
UN aid chief Tom Fletcher has said the next few days were "make or break”.
It comes as aid agencies warn of mass starvation across the strip – Gaza’s health ministry says another 14 people have died in the past 24 hours from malnourishment.
The UN has welcomed the new aid measures, but it also said the action needs to be "sustained" – and that there must be "no more attacks on people gathering for food".
Aid was also air dropped into Gaza at the weekend – but it was a tiny fraction of Gazans’ daily needs.
Israel restricts entry of BBC and other international journalists into Gaza, making it difficult to verify the situation on the ground.
