That’s just a mystery to me. He still has the following. So, is that about the contrast? They don’t like the contrast, whatever it is. So, what I see now is something much worse. I thought it couldn’t get worse, but little did I know that the country would be such jeopardy now.”

“It is a stinkin’, lousy, rotten bill. I kind of have a little annoyance with the press who keep calling it big and beautiful. Why are they calling it that? It’s stinkin’, lousy rotten bill. It’ll add nearly four trillion dollars to the national debt, taking food out of the mouths of babies, health care out of way for millions of Americans. There’s nothing beautiful about it. If it’s in the beholder, people should, eye of the beholders, they want to review their eyes, their vision. No, this bill is is a terrible bill for them.”

(Reporter: Do you have any second thoughts? Any second thoughts about what happened last summer?)
“Second thoughts? I don’t have any second thoughts, but I do have a second thought about the Republicans. If they want to measure mental acuity or sanity, they ought to look to their own president. Because a president of the United States who was asked one question and answers by saying President Obama is guilty of treason, he is not of sane mind.”
(Reporter: And have you had a chance to talk with President Biden at all?)
“We spoke both on Ethel Kennedy’s funeral, so that was one time when we were together. But no, I have no second thoughts. I think that he was a great president. He accomplished remarkable things in a two-year period where we had the majority. He had accomplishments that were seen in the same light as LBJ and Franklin Roosevelt. He didn’t have as long a tenure as they did. But he had the quality of legislation, make a difference in people’s lives. It’s unfortunate that it went down this path, but I think that history will treat him well because he did great things for our country, a super patriot, loved America, honored our Constitution, a big contrast to what we have now.”

“Now they know they’re going to lose, because their policies are so bad, that they’re taking food out of the mouths of babies, healthcare from millions of Americans, so they can give a tax break to the rich, and they just all followed suit, because that’s what they believe. That’s who they are. Now, some people say, oh, they’re afraid of Trump. They may be, but they’re comfortable with their votes, because that who they are. So, I don’t like redistricting in the middle of a decade, but if that’s what we have to win, we will do that. Everything is on the table. Everything is all on the table. I know a lot about redistricting. I’ve been doing it for years. I don’t invite it, but I know how to do it.”
