STORYLINE:
Dozens of vehicles bearing Palestinian flags joined a solidarity caravan in Chile’s capital Santiago on Friday, calling for an end to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

Departing from the Palestinian Club, participants displayed banners and wore kuffiyehs in a demonstration of support.

“Gaza is dying. There are 2 million people who, if we don’t do something like what we are doing today, will die,” said Jihad Shahwan, a member of the Palestinian diaspora in Chile.

Organizers urged broader awareness and action, stressing the urgency of the situation as displacement continues across Gaza and the West Bank.
