STORYLINE:
Humanitarian aid was dropped by aircraft into the Gaza Strip for a second day on Monday.
Following the airdrops, a large plume of smoke was seen rising into the sky in the territory.
Israel on Sunday had announced a pause in military operations in certain areas for 10 hours daily to improve aid flow.
Alongside these measures, Israel continues military operations outside the pause timeframe.
Aid agencies welcomed the new measures but say they are insufficient.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said Monday that 14 Palestinians including two children have died of malnutrition-related causes in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.
