Video obtained by Reuters showed Palestinians running from gunfire near a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation aid distribution site in central Gaza on Saturday (August 2). Footage showed a child running towards a crowd of people sitting on the ground as shots could be heard ringing out. The United Nations says more than 1,000 people have been killed trying to receive aid in Gaza since the GHF began operating in May 2025, most of them shot by Israeli forces operating near GHF sites.
