"At night, Ukraine was again shelled, first by a drone attack, and then by a missile attack. The city of Kyiv suffered the most today. After a widespread drone attack, an hour later there were missile launches. Six missiles hit residential buildings, municipal facilities in the city of Kyiv, one of the missiles landed here in the Svyatoshynskyi district."

"We can definitely confirm six deaths, one of them a six-year-old boy, who was rescued, but doctors fought for his life for more than two hours, provided him with medical assistance, but unfortunately they did not save him. Four people have died at this location so far, but unfortunately, we see that there may be more victims. There are 56 apartments in this entrance, which is half destroyed and collapsed."

STORYLINE:
Russia attacked Ukraine’s capital with missiles and drones overnight, killing at least eight people, including a 6-year-old boy, and wounding 82 others, Ukrainian authorities said Thursday.
"One of those killed was a six-year-old boy, who was rescued, but doctors fought for his life for more than two hours, provided him with medical assistance, but unfortunately they did not save him," said the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.
Russia fired 309 Shahed and decoy drones, and eight Iskander-K cruise missiles overnight, the Ukrainian air force said.
