Yang: "I mean, they gave us like carte blanche to do whatever we want and I mean big ups all up to Bravo, NBC, Peacock. They let us do pretty much all of it."
Rogers: "I mean there’s we had a blue sky session at the beginning, a lot of that blue sky is in the show, a lot. Like I remember just in the very very beginning having a session with our initial writers Sudi Green and Celeste Yim, we’ve since been joined by the incredible Fran Gillespie and we just had like a brainstorm session about what could happen. So much of that is happening. So much of that is happening."
Yang: "Yeah, so um, if it doesn’t go well we only have ourselves to blame."

"You know what? None of it should be serious because really it’s not serious. I mean, some are prestigious or have more history and a little more gravitas to them. But the truth of the matter, all of this part of the swirl is somewhat fake. So I like that the ‘La Culturistas’ are just aiming the arrow at the fake and not trying to pretend that it’s real."

Franco: "When I was 14, I was working at a mom-and-pop video store, and it was the year 1999, which is now regarded as one of the best years for movies ever. And so I was watching all these just really, just like seminal films, like ‘Fight Club’ and ‘The Matrix,’ ‘Blair Witch Projects,’ ‘American Beauty,’ ‘American Pie,’ just one after the next. And that was my film school, and I just wanted to be a part of it any way I could."
Brie: "The culture that made you say culture was for you was the year 1999."
Franco: "Yeah. Is that an okay answer?"
(Reporter: "That’s a great answer. Well, I’m more fascinated by the fact that you used to work at a video store. Did you ever get to a point where you got to go back to that video store and pick up one of your films? ")
Franco: "Well, the video store is gone."
Brie: "Aww."
Franco: "That’s okay. I think it was gone maybe 20 years ago now."
Brie: "Oh, boy. Oh, man. Way to bring the night down."
Brie: "That was incredible."
