"We are saying goodbye to him. I also want to tell you that I hope justice will be done. Because justice strengthens democracy. Holding human beings accountable for their actions makes a country fair, and there must be justice. Not only for Miguel (Uribe), but for the whole of Colombia, which deserves to live in peace."

STORYLINE:
Los colombianos rindieron homenaje a Miguel Uribe, de 39 años, un senador de la oposición y precandidato presidencial que falleció tras ser baleado en un mitin político hace dos meses.
Uribe recibió tres disparos mientras daba un discurso de campaña en Bogotá, y había estado en cuidados intensivos desde el ataque.
La esposa de Uribe, Claudia Tarazona, y el padre del senador, también llamado Miguel Uribe, estuvieron entre los asistentes mientras su ataúd era llevado a través del Congreso en Bogotá.
