(Reporter: Are you happy you got out of late night, especially since it’s under fire these days?)
" It’s not that I’m happy to have got out of late night. I, you know, we did 1,198 ‘Late, Late’ shows. And I’m so proud of that show. I’m proud of what I did there. I loved it. I loved. It was an extraordinary experience to have what a privilege to be part of such a thing and such a gang. And I think it’s very, very sad that Late Night’s not gonna be there on CBS. It’s very sad. It makes me very sad, because when I was in the History Boys in 2006, I used to rush home and I would watch Lederman at 11:30 and I will watch Craig Ferguson at 12:30 and then, and that that won’t be there is a sad thing."
