STORYLINE:
The Kremlin on Thursday said the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska will start at 11:30 am local time Friday.
Putin’s foreign policy advisor Yuri Ushakov told reporters that the two leader will first sit down for a one-on-one meeting, and then the two delegations will meet.
Aside from Putin, the Russian delegation will include Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund Kirill Dmitriev.
Trump and Putin will hold a joint press conference after the talks, Ushakov said.
