STORYLINE:
Hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered at the port of Piraeus in Greece on Thursday to protest against the arrival of a ship carrying Israeli soldiers amongst its passengers.
Bekris Markos, a protester, denounced the action saying that he doesn’t "accept" that Greece will facilitate "rest and recreation for the murderers who come here having stained their hands with the blood of innocent people".
Andrianos Boukouris, another protester, called the Greek government’s decision to allow the Israeli cruise ship as "unacceptable".
People held placards, waved flags and chanted slogans calling for the freedom of the Palestinian people at the demonstration, which was organised by Communist-backed labor union PAME.
Protesters dispersed peacefully at the end of the demonstration.
