STORYLINE:
Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles met with Malaysia’s Defense Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.
The meeting was part of the “5th High Level Committee Meeting," the highest cooperation gathering between the two countries.
The two ministers held bilateral talks focussed on defense partnership and signed a joint statement on improving military ties.
