Remembering Hurricane Katrina 20 Years Later

It has been 20 years since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Approximately 1,400 people lost their lives and it is estimated over 500 residents of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast went missing and were never found. Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts, who is from Mississippi, rushed to the Gulf Coast to cover the storm. She first asked where her mother was. Two decades later, Roberts returned to the region for an ABC special airing Friday. Inside Edition covered Katrina 20 years ago, and its aftermath.
