EU Foreign ministers are meeting for a second day in the Danish capital Copenhagen. As pro-Palestinian protests are being staged outside the venue, ministers inside are preparing for tough discussions on the war in Gaza, which is a subject that is dividing the bloc. Many EU governments have criticized Israel’s conduct in the conflict, particularly over civilian deaths and restrictions on the amount of aid allowed to enter the territory. But members have been divided over a common response.
