Karen Read spoke out about the just announced TV series about her notorious murder trials and she is not happy. She was acquitted in June in the murder of her boyfriend, Boston cop John O’Keefe. Elizabeth Banks is set to play Read in the new drama series for prime TV and Read says the 52-year-old actress is too old. Read and her attorney Alan Jackson say they sold the rights to their story to another Hollywood studio, not the Elizabeth Banks project.
