"You know, it’s interesting because the character is running from himself for so much of the movie and deflecting and trying to hide and what essentially I was asking of George is to reveal more and more of himself as he does that and that is what he does, as Laura said, so beautifully. I mean it’s, you know, I’m not one to get, generally on set to feel emotional watching things but I really did on this movie."

"If I have anything additional to say, I’ll probably keep it to myself or write it in a journal. But if I do have something political to say I typically try to explore it in my work. So I haven’t found any complicated way of navigating the present state where you feel like you need to comment on everything just by virtue of being a – I think there was a Gallup poll that said recently that 88% of the electorate in America wasn’t interested in what celebrities had to say, which actually I felt great about because I think 99% of the people don’t know who I am, so therefore I can say whatever the hell I want. But I haven’t had anything interesting to say yet, so that’s where I’m at."

"I’ve always appreciated my manager, my agent, my publicist, I just know how hard they work and how difficult it is to hear my ups and downs in life and back me up no matter what even when I was possibly a little, I could get loud at times, but I do appreciate what they do. I was very excited to play a man who is devoted to somebody like George’s character, Jay Kelly. And I just, yes, I admire everybody who does that."
