University of Kentucky senior Laken Snelling has been accused of hiding her dead newborn. Police say they went to Snelling’s home after getting a report of a dead infant being found in a closet. They say they discovered the baby wrapped in a towel in a black trash bag. The 21-year-old allegedly "admitted to giving birth" and "concealing the birth." It is not clear how the baby died or who called the police. Snelling pleaded not guilty to abusing a corpse and tampering with evidence.
