Hand Signal Used to Alert Suspected Domestic Violence, Police Say

A hand signal for help, demonstrated on social media, is the reason police say they were alerted to a suspected domestic violence victim inside a 7-Eleven. Police say they were called to a 7-Eleven store in Los Angeles after an employee saw a woman make the hand signal behind her back inside the store. The employee recognized the signal and knew that the woman needed help. The suspect, John Palombi, had an active warrant and a stun gun on him, according to police.
