Founder of software giant Oracle Larry Ellison has seen his net worth soar by nearly $70bn (£51bn) in one day.
Oracle reported surging revenues driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and credited an increase in demand for cloud computing.
Ellison now has a net worth of $364bn, according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which puts him in striking distance of overtaking Elon Musk to become the world’s richest man.
