Charlie Kirk was shot and killed by a sniper during an event on the campus of Utah Valley University. The conservative activist was addressing a gathering of students about gun violence when he was shot in the neck. Police were seen detaining a man, but according to a university spokesman, he is not the gunman. Kirk, who is married with two young children, is a fixture on college campuses, where he hosts questions and answer sessions of divisive topics.
