Charlie Kirk was married with two young children. His wife Erika is a former beauty queen who represented Arizona in the Miss USA pageant in 2012. Erika was a cheerleader for her husband. Kirk and his wife were active on social media but were careful not to show the faces of their kids and they never shared their names in the media. Kirk was gunned down at a Utah university campus during his "Prove Me Wrong" college tour where he was challenged by students who disagreed with him.
