2. SOUNDBITE (Arabic) Abdul Aziz Mjarmeh, father of 14-year-old Islam Mjarmeh, killed by Israeli military:
"What happened is that I heard people had entered the camp. When I went in, I saw that many people were already there and there was no army presence at the time. I went to see our home, which is located near the hospital—about a two-to three-minute walk away. When I arrived, I found the house completely destroyed; everything was gone. I told him, ‘Let’s leave.’ He started looking through the rubble to see if anything could be used, but there was nothing. So, we left, just the two of us. As we got close to the hospital, near a pile of dirt, he was standing right next to me—and suddenly, he collapsed face-first on the ground."

4. SOUNDBITE (Arabic) Abdul Aziz Mjarmeh, father of 14-year-old Islam Mjarmeh, killed by Israeli military:
"They (passersby) said the army is behind us. I thought he would get up, but he didn’t. When I lifted him, blood was pouring from his chest. A soldier came and told me to leave. I said, ‘How can I leave? I won’t go. This is a child. Why did you kill him? Why did you shoot him? He’s just a child.’ All I can say is: God is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs."

STORYLINE:
Dozens of Palestinians on Tuesday attended the funeral of 14-year-old Islam Mjarmeh who killed in Jenin refugee camp.

He was one of two 14-year-old Palestinian boys were killed in the Israeli-occupied West Bank on Monday, according to the Ramallah-based Palestinian Health Ministry.

Islam’s father said he had gone with his son to see their home in the camp, like many other residents.

After finding their home destroyed, the father and son decided to leave.

"As we got close to the hospital, near a pile of dirt, he was standing right next to me—and suddenly, he collapsed face-first on the ground," Abdul Aziz Mjarmeh told the Associated Press.

"I thought he would get up, but he didn’t. When I lifted him, blood was pouring from his chest."

An Israeli soldier then approached and told Mjarmeh to leave.

The Israeli military said the incident happened in the northern West Bank City of Jenin, where several people approached Israeli soldiers in a way that “posed a threat.”

The area was under military closure and entry was prohibited at the time, the military said, without providing further information.

Also in the West Bank, an Israeli investigation continued into two Palestinians who opened fire at a bus stop in Jerusalem on Monday, killing six people.

It was the deadliest attack against civilians in Israel in nearly a year.

Defense Minister Israel Katz announced Tuesday he placed sanctions on the relatives and residents of the towns where the two attackers are from, will order all buildings constructed without permits to be demolished, and canceled 750 work visas for town residents.
