“I just like to talk openly on Instagram and when I started talking about my journey with mental health, I got a surprising reaction from a lot of people around the world really saying no men are talking about this and I had really been under the understanding that mental health had been a bit more destigmatized than it was, but I think it’s because I live in Los Angeles, a bunch of actors and we just sit around the dinner table talking about our therapist, what antidepressants we take, you know, it’s part of our lingo. So what I’m hoping is to just share it, demystify it, destigmatize it, and say, look man, I’ve had times in my life where I wasn’t even sure I was going to make it through the next week and I got to this place, like you can do it. Buckle down, get your sleep, get you exercise, find your therapist, dial in your medication, it’s totally doable.”
