Al-Ghafri Tower, the tallest building in the Gaza Strip, was leveled to the ground on Monday as part of Israel’s massive new bombing campaign on Gaza City.
The 20-storey high-rise housed press offices for international and local news agencies. The Israeli military says the building hid Hamas infrastructure and issued an evacuation order shortly before bombing it.
