"This idea of like the silver screen, cinematic old Hollywood, something that was like masculine but feminine. So a lot of the collection is black and white, but a lot of texture. We have this beautiful plaid sequin, polka dot stripes, kind of things that she’s worn in her kind of repertoire of clothes. And then we end in this idea of like if all the sudden the film turned to color, is kind of the idea."

"Coco is kind of an old school model where she, I think, brings things to life like an actress does. So I think I also love my shows to be a little bit more like a performance, too. I want people to feel like when they walk in the room, they’re in a different world. We work so hard on making all these beautiful things, and I think it’s escapism, you know? We need that so much right now. We need to be in a different place, and I think that’s what I wanted."
