Deputies responded to a home invasion after a report that four suspects attempted to break in. There were no suspects in sight. Then they announced their arrival. The homeowner unlocked his door and a deputy fired his gun, shooting him. The injured man was led away for medical help. The sheriff department in Orange County, Florida, said the deputy "accidentally discharged his firearm." He’s been "temporarily reassigned to an administrative capacity" as the investigation continues.
