At least 39 people have been killed in a stampede at a political rally in India. It happened in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. Children were among the dead and dozens of others were injured. Supporters of the popular actor and politician Vijay fell as they tried to get close to his campaign bus. DW’s Shalu Yadav reports from Delhi.
