"That process is exactly the same as it always was. Me in a little tiny little cubicle box room, or a big studio now, whatever, with a beat, a loop, or riff, or a chord, or a lyric I’ve written, very much like instinctive like I just I, you know, I sort of go in there with very, sort of, no real kind of plan just let things, just like whatever, the universe or whatever. So that the process is exactly the same. I feel like as a writer though I feel very, like, starting to feel like I know what I’m doing. And I never used to know, but I’m kind of starting to feel like I’ve put the hours in. Like a martial artist, I feel like a black belt now."
