Tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets in Berlin to call for an end to what a UN commission of inquiry calls Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Police said they arrested some 30 people but there were no clashes reported. A separate, smaller protest in another part of Berlin saw scuffles with police. Authorities say it was broken up after neither the organizers nor authorities could bring participants under control.
