The Atlantic Council hosted the fourteenth Global Citizen Awards in New York on Wednesday, honoring French President Emmanuel Macron, Argentina’s President Javier Milei, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
The event gathered a distinguished international audience, including heads of state, U.S. officials, UN ambassadors, business leaders, and renowned cultural figures.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino received his award from legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady.
"Receiving the award, being announced, being presented, introduced by a legend but also a friend, I have to say. Tom Brady is very special," Infantino said on the red carpet.
United States Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent presented the award to Argentine President Javier Milei, while President Emmanuel Macron was also recognized.
In his remarks, Macron reflected with humor on being honored alongside Infantino and Milei.
