1 min read

Photographer Hector Retamal has witnessed the mysterious voodoo rituals of Haiti first hand, capturing the communities’ deep reverence for the afterlife.

In 2020, Hector travelled to the centre of the Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan, documenting the city’s struggles with the virus and its recovery.

In Developing News, VICE interviews photographers whose photos have become synonymous with important world events.
