Natural Hazard Risks to Department of State Overseas Property – Director Summary

Catina Latham discusses our November 2022 report on the impact of climate change and extreme weather events on the State Department’s 294 global locations. As of May 2022, the State Department’s initial assessment suggests that more than half of the locations at highest risk to the effects of natural disasters are in East Asia and the Pacific.
