Video of Beirut explosion captured by residents of the city shows multiple angles of the blast and shock wave that deverstated half of the city on August 5th, 2020.

The damage costs have been estimated to range up to more than 3 billion dollars as hundreds where killed and thousands wounded.

Also over 300,000 people lost their homes due to the massive explosion.

What exactly caused the explosion in Beirut is still unclear at the moment.

Speculations range from fireworks, chemicals to even a giant car bomb or a foiled attempt to smuggle weapons in to the country.
