WATCH: Trace Adkins sings national anthem at Republican National Convention

Country singer Trace Adkins sang the national anthem on the third night of the Republican National Convention. The performance came after a speech by Vice President Mike Pence from Fort McHenry in Baltimore. President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump joined Pence and second lady Karen Pence joined the vice president on stage for the singing of the national anthem. The party planned a mix of virtual and in-person events in North Carolina and Washington, D.C., for its nominating convention after the coronavirus pandemic interrupted plans for a traditional nominating event.
