In August 2021, Western states frantically withdrew soldiers and staff from Afghanistan and the Taliban took power. Seeing that so many people were leaving, filmmaker Ibrahim Nash’at decided to go in. And he managed to gain stunning access to Afghanistan’s new rulers. The result was his revealing and brave documentary Hollywoodgate.
